9.8.5.2 Defining the Search Direction and Contrast Transition
You can use the button to define the search direction for the edge
detection, and to define which contrast transition should be
searched for. You can select from the following settings:

Defining the search direction and contrast transition
1. Press the adjacent button.
The Polarity/Search Direction selection window appears in the
display.
2. Select the search direction and contrast transition by activating
the respective checkbox.
3. Confirm the selection with the button.
The selection window is closed.
