5.6.4 Adjusting the Main Power Supply
If troubleshooting indicates that internal 24 Volt DC voltage is low, the power supply output voltage can
be adjusted. This procedure requires that power be connected while the unit is opened, and therefore
should only be performed by a qualified service technician.
1) Follow above procedure for Servicing Operator Panel Components.
2) Make sure no exposed electrical contacts are in a position to short to ground or any metal
object.
3) Attach a DC Volt meter to the output terminals of the Main Power Supply, measuring between
+V and –V terminals. Remove the two screws mounting the power supply to the back panel of
the Electrical Cabinet.
4) Re-connect AC power to the Central Unit, turn on Main Power Switch.
5) If the voltage is more than 10% higher or lower than 24 Volts DC, adjust the potentiometer
marked “+V ADJ”. Make small adjustments while monitoring the voltage.
