These indicators are displayed across the top of the screen. PROG indicates the name of the active
part program. PIERCE displays the sequential number of pierces completed so far while running the
active program. This is cleared automatically each time a new program or nest is started. KERF
displays the value entered for kerf offset.
4.10.3 Cutting Process Status Indicators
This section provides indicators for status of process controls, such as Cutting Oxygen, Arc On, Torch
Up, and Torch Down. When one of these is active it is highlighted in yellow.
4.10.4 Additional Function Key Indicators
This section serves as prompts for additional functions that can be accessed by keys on the CNC front
panel during various operating modes. They also act as indicators to display the status of those
functions. The following functions are available during Automatic Mode:
Key Function
【X】 Dry Run
Pressing 【X】on the panel will activate the Dry Run mode, which will run the
program at top speed without starting the cutting process. This can be used to check
the location, scale, or alignment of a program before cutting. Pressing 【X】again
turns off the Dry Run mode.
【Y】 Auto Speed
Pressing【Y】on the panel while a program is not running will switch between Jog
Speed mode and Auto Speed mode. Auto Speed is the setting used while cutting.
Jog Speed is the setting used while manually positioning the machine. This allows
you to switch between modes so the Feed Rate Override Percentage can be quickly
changed for either mode. The indicator is highlighted when Auto Speed mode is
active.
