4.11 Auto Mode Menu Functions
A program is selected for cutting by loading it in the EDIT mode, or by creating it in the LIBRARY.
Once a program is selected, it can be run immediately after selecting the AUTO mode. Large programs
can be run directly from the USB disk, without having to copy them into the CNC’s memory.
The following functions are available in the top level of the Auto Mode Menu.
4.11.1 F1SKIPTO
This function allows you to start running a program or nest from a different location from the start point.
You may select any pierce point as the starting point, and the control will skip to that point in the
program and begin execution from there. You can also choose whether to start running the program
from the new start point at the current machine location or at the appropriate position relative to the
Program Zero Point.
Refer to the SKIPTO section below for details.
4.11.2 F2MANUAL
This switches from Auto Mode to the Manual Mode.
4.11.3 F3RESUME
This function is used to resume execution of a program that has previously been paused. After
selecting this function, pressing [START] will begin the process of resuming the last paused program. Refer
to section 0 below for details.
4.11.4 F4PREVIEW
The Preview function attempts to read the selected part program or nest and display the program
graphic on screen. This allows you to check for errors and ensure the desired program is selected
before starting program execution. The graphic will be displayed with a cross cursor at the origin, and
with numeric labels for each Pierce Point.
