Hard disk drives (HDD) and solid state drives (SSD)
In order to permanently remove an operational HDD that is part of a RAID
array from the server, you first need to delete the array using ServerView
RAID Manager.
V CAUTION!
All data on all HDDs in the array will be lost when deleting the RAID
array! Be sure to back up your data before deleting a RAID array.

Ê Disconnect the power cable(s) from the HDD to be removed (1, 2).
Ê Disconnect the SATA cable(s) from the HDD to be removed (3, 4).
