Basic hardware procedures
4.4.1 Removing the server cover
Ê Remove all external cables from the I/O panel and expansion cards. For
more information, see section "Connectors and indicators" on page 319.

Ê Remove the ID card from the server.
I It may be necessary to pull out on the ID card rather firmly. However,
do not apply excessive force.
Figure 5: Unlocking the server
Ê Turn the key counterclockwise (1) to unlock the accessible drive bay cover
and remove the key.
