10.10.2 Mounting and Installation
Most units are supplied ready for installation in a narrow mounting position.
Power Supply Mounting and Installation
The power supply unit can be snapped onto all DIN-rails in accordance with EN 60715 (units are supplied with universal
DIN-rail adapter UTA 107/30). They must be mounted horizontally, connecting terminal blocks top and bottom, with input
terminals facing upward. The following figure displays the default mounting position for Phoenix power supplies.
To mount the power supply unit: position the module with the DIN-rail mounted guideway on the top edge of the
DIN-rail and then snap it downwards.
To remove the unit: release the snap-on catch using a screwdriver and detach the module from the bottom edge of the
DIN-rail.
