Configuring progress-to-alerting conversion
When ISDN is processing voice calls, Alerting messages are used as ring indications as defined in
the standard protocol. However, some devices use Progress messages as ring indications. In this
case, convert the received Progress messages into Alerting messages. You can use the related
command to determine whether to perform the conversion. The conversion is needed when the
current device is connected to a device using Progress messages as ring indications. Otherwise, the
conversion is unnecessary. The conversion is enabled by default.
