12. Engage the safety props on both lift cylinders:
a. Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the
ignition.
b. Pull lever (A) and rotate it towards the header to
release and lower safety prop (B) onto the lift cylinder.
c. Repeat the previous steps for the opposite lift cylinder.

13. Install pin (B) through the header leg, engaging the
U-bracket in the lift linkage. Secure the pin with hairpin (A).
14. Repeat the previous step on the other side of the header.
15. Raise header stand (D) to its storage position by pulling
spring pin (C) and lifting the stand into the uppermost
position. Release the spring pin.
