BlowerSpeedControl
Usethiscontroltoregulatetheamountofairprovidedtothe
ventsinanymodeyouselect.Turntheknobclockwiseto
increasefanspeed.TurningthecontroltotheOFFpositionwill
shutoffthefanbutmaynotpreventoutsideairfromenteringthe
vehicle.Turningofftheblowerspeedcontrolalsoturnsoffthe
A/Ccompressor.Thebuttoninthemiddleofthedialcontrols
therecirculationandfreshairinthecab.
TemperatureControl
Usethetemperaturedialcontroltosetdesiredcabin
temperaturesetpointortoselectMaxHeatorMaxCool
operations.ThecenterbuttonofthedialcontrolstheON/OFF
modefortheairconditioning.
QuickSettings
TheA/Csystemisequippedwiththreequicksettingoptions
foreasyaccessoftheMaxDefroster,MaxCoolandMaxHeat
modes.PressingtheMaxDefrostwillturnontheA/C,activate
freshhotairathighblowerspeedtobeoutputfromthevents.
MovingthedialtotheMaxCoolsettingwillturnontheA/C
andactivatemaximumcoldairtemperature,recirculation,and
ahighblowerspeed.MovingthedialtotheMaxHeatsetting
willactivatemaximumhotairtemperature,freshair,andahigh
blowerspeed.Thesesettingscanbeoverriddenbyadjustingthe
Auto,blower,temperature,orrecirculationsettings.However,if
thecontrolisinMaxCool,MaxDefrosterorMaxHeatmode
priortokeyOFFposition,whenthekeyismovedtothekey
ONposition,thesystemwillreturntodefaultMaxCool,Max
DefrosterorMaxHeatoperationunlesstheblowerisintheOFF
position.
RecirculationButton
Thisbuttonselectsfreshairorrecirculatedair.Theairwill
berecirculatedwhenthelightonthebuttonisilluminated.
Recirculationislockedoutindefrost,mix,andadjacentdot
positions.Userecirculationtoblockoutanyoutsideodors,
smoke,ordustandtocooltheinteriorrapidlyuponinitialstartup
inveryhotorhumidweather.Thisbuttonislocatedinthecenter
ofthefanspeeddial.TherearetimesduringAutoorSemi-Auto
operationwherethesystemmaypreventoperationwiththe
recirculationmodeduetorisksoffoggingthewindshield.
A/CButton
TheA/Ccanbeselectedatanytime,inanymodeortempto
cooland/ordehumidifythecabair.TheA/Cisturnedonwhen
thelightonthebuttonisilluminated.ToturntheA/CbuttonON
orOFF,pushthebuttoninthecenterofthetemperaturedial.
Theheater/defrostersystemscanbeoperatedsimultaneously
withtheairconditioner.SelecttheA/Cbutton,adjustthe
temperatureandmodetoacomfortablesetting,andtheair
conditionerwillremovehumiditywhiletheheaterkeepsthecab
atacomfortabletemperature.
NOTE:FortruckswithsleeperA/Cunits,theairconditioner
maybeactivewhenthesleeperblowerison,andthefront
blowerison,regardlessofcabA/Cbuttonillumination.
