Ifoneormorepartitionsarealreadycreated,theexistingpartitions
arelistedinalphabeticalorderonthePartitionsscreen.ClickNewto
createanewpartition.
Note: IftheNewbuttonisNOTdisplayed,thenallslotsinthelibrary
areallocatedortheexistingpartitionisconfiguredforStandard
Entry/Exitmode.Youneedtoeditanexistingpartitiontofreeup
slotsorchangetheEntry/Exitmodebeforeyoucancreatea
cleaningpartition.
3. OntheName&MediaTypescreen,enteranameforthepartitionand
selectLTO Cleaningasthemediatype.

Enteraunique,descriptivenametoidentifythepartitionasacleaning

character.Partitionnamesover32characterscauseascrollbartodisplayon
somescreensandarenotrecommended.
Note: Thedefaultnameforacleaningpartitionis“Cleaningn”,wherenisa
number.ThepartitionnameslistalphabeticallyinmanyoftheBlueScale
screens.Ifyouwantthecleaningpartitionstobelistedafterthestorage
partitions,precedethenamewitha“z”or“_”.
Media Type
Select LTO Cleaning tocreateacleaningpartition.
