PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE
Figure 6-1: Maintenance Screen (Cockpit)
The Analyzer automatically monitors the lifetime of the Furnace Cartridge, Pump Tubing (GP1),
and Absorber (Halogen Trap
15
and Aerosol Absorber) fillings. The Analyzer will also generate a
Maintenance Request or Warning for the following:
• The Analyzer detects a blockage in the Carrier Gas flow path (reflected on the
“Gas Way” Predictive Maintenance gauge).
• The Analyzer detects that the Analyzer enclosure Fan Filters are clogged
(reflected on the “Fan Filter” Predictive Maintenance gauge).
• The Analyzer detects that the Soda Lime and Activated Carbon granules need to
be replaced, if using the optional Air Scrubber (reflected on the “Soda Lime”
Predictive Maintenance gauge).
► If using Nitrogen as Carrier Gas, the “Soda Lime” Predictive Maintenance
gauge will indicate that the Carrier Gas supply and connections need to be
inspected.
For more information, see “Maintenance Screen (Cockpit)” on page 114.
15. The Halogen Trap filter media, indicated by a visual color change, may be replaced more
frequently than the “Absorber” Predictive Maintenance indicates. If this is the case, the
“Absorber” gauge on the Maintenance (Cockpit) screen will be used to indicate when to
replace the Aerosol Absorber filter media.
