5. Perform any maintenance tasks required before reestablishing power to the Analyzer.
Rebooting the Analyzer
When rebooting the Analyzer using the “Reboot” button, the Analyzer electronics will
restart without turning Off the Rotary Power Switch.
To Reboot the Analyzer
When needed or directed to “Reboot the Analyzer”, navigate to the following screen:
Menu → General → Software. Press the R
EBOOT button. The Touchscreen will turn off
and the electronics will safely restart. Wait for the process to complete. Once complete,
the Analyzer will display the Menu screen.
NOTE: The “Reboot” button may be displayed on other screens for
convenience if the associated task requires a Reboot.
Power Cycling the Analyzer
For troubleshooting purposes, it may be necessary to Power Cycle the Analyzer. This is a
safe process to reboot the internal electronics of the Analyzer and temporarily disconnect
power to the Analyzer.
To Power Cycle the Analyzer, it must first be in the ON state.
To Power Cycle the Analyzer
1. If the Analyzer is taking measurements, press the ONLINE button in the top right
corner to stop analysis and set the Analyzer to “Offline” Operating Mode.
2. Once the Analyzer is no longer taking measurements, it is safe to turn the Rotary
Power Switch (ACW) to the horizontal OFF position.
