16. Reinstall HS2 and replace the Viton tubing running from Y11 to the HS2 Inlet.
17. Reinstall HS1 and replace the Viton tubing running from Gas Cooler Unit outlet to the
to the HS1 Inlet.
18. Check the “Carrier Gas Flow Out” Sensor reading from the Menu → Service →
Sensors screen. For more information, see “Important Sensor Values — Analyzer
On, Analysis Stopped” on page 196.
• Ensure there is adequate flow through HS2 after reinstalling. If the “Carrier Gas
Flow In” Sensor reading and Gas Way readings are correct but the “Carrier Gas
Flow Out” Sensor reading is too low, then there is a leak in the system. Confirm
that the HS2 filter packing is not caught in the upper cap and creating a leak.
• Ensure that the “Pressure Reactor” Sensor reading is not too high. This would
indicate “filter media over-packing”.
19. When complete, “Reset”
17
the “Absorber” consumable in the firmware on the Menu
→ Service → Maintenance screen.
20. Navigate to the Maintenance (Cockpit) screen to verify that the “Absorber” gauge
displays a green, ready state.
21. If planning to replace other consumables, follow the procedures listed in the
appropriate sections of this chapter. Otherwise, close and latch the Analyzer door.
Dilution/Rinse Water
Prepare the Analyzer for maintenance. For more information, see “Prepare the Analyzer
for Quick Maintenance” on page 183.
To Refill the Dilution/Rinse Carboy
Refill the Dilution/Rinse Carboy with appropriate DI Water as needed. For more
information, see “Dilution and Rinsing Water” on page 33.
Fan Filters
Prepare the Analyzer for maintenance. For more information, see “Quick Maintenance
Procedures” on page 185.
Replacement of the enclosure Fan Filters is only required when instruments internal
temperature is higher than expected and the Predictive Maintenance Screen displays a
reminder message. There are two Fan Filters on the Analyzer enclosure over the cooling
air Intake and Exhaust.
17. If the Halogen Trap filter packing was replaced, but not the Aerosol Absorber, do not
“Reset” the consumable. Wait for the “Absorber” Predictive Maintenance gauge to indicate
that the Aerosol Absorber needs to be replaced. After replacing it, “Reset” the “Absorber”.
