Activated Carbon
Activated Carbon (also referred to “Activated Charcoal”) is a highly porous material that is
effective at adsorbing hydrocarbons from industrial air streams. The n° 2 technical grade
granulated Activated Carbon is a common grade used for air purification. It is important
to note that Activated Carbon can become saturated with adsorbed material over time
and will need to be replaced.
Communication Box
The Communication Box is a supplemental option to expand the Input/Output signals for
the Analyzer. It contains six Analog Outputs, four digital Relay Outputs, and four Digital
Inputs, making it a versatile and communicative tool. The Communication Box can be
easily connected to the Analyzer for seamless data transfer and analysis.
Particulate Sampler
The Particulate Sampler is a purchasable option for counterflow filtration and provides
low particle sample to the Analyzer. This assembly must be attached within 2 m (6.2 ft) of
the Analyzer using standard metric connections (DIN 32). The Sample Flow for this option
is between 11.7-50 LPM (3.1-13.2 US gal/min), the sample pressure at the system is
maximum of 20 kPa (0.2 Bar, 2.9 psig). Do not exceed the maximum of 20 kPa (0.2
Bar, 2.9 psig). In order to function properly, the Particulate Sampler must always be filled
with sample. This Sampler requires an atmospheric drain and should not be installed in a
loop where sample is returned to process.
For more information, see “Particulate Sampler Dimensions” on page 234.
Mounting Rack
The Mounting Rack is a supplemental option to support the installation and setup of the
Analyzer.
