Pump Head (GP4)
If using the Dilution or Rinse Feature, the GP4 Pump Head will need to be replaced
periodically.
1. Prepare the Analyzer for maintenance. For more information, see “Prepare the
Analyzer for Quick Maintenance” on page 183.
2. To replace the GP4 Pump Head, disconnect the pump tubing from the ridged PFA
tubing. See Figure 6-7 on page 193
.
3. Press the two tabs on the left and right side of the pump with the thumb and index
finger.
4. With the tabs depressed pull the Pump Head off the drive shaft towards the font of the
Analyzer to remove.
5. Install a new Pump Head by aligning it on the drive shaft, then gently pressing it
toward the back of the Analyzer until it clicks into place.
6. Reconnect the pump tubing to the ridged PFA tubing.
