— ECD Detector Option (for NO Detection)
The ECD Detector Option (B2) is a purchasable Electrochemical Detector (ECD)
Feature located in the Carrier Gas stream after the NDIR Detector and the “Carrier Gas
Flow Out” Sensor. The ECD Detector is used to measure NO (Nitric Oxide) and this
correlates to the TNb (Total Bound Nitrogen) measurement. The ECD Detector Range is
specific to the hardware installed and there are two ECD Detector Analytical Ranges
available. This is determined during product planning and custom installed individually
per Customer requirements.

a. The “NDIR Detector” and “NDIR Range” are found on the Menu → General →
Machine Configuration Screen. All “NDIR Detector” values display as “NDIR 1”
except the “Up to 10 mg/L as TOC” and “Wide Range”. Locate the “NDIR Range” value
to determine the purchased component.
