Appendix B: Errors and Warnings
OVERVIEW
This appendix contains tables that describe the Error Codes and Messages.
See the following:
• “Notification Icons” on page 250
• “Error Codes” on page 251
• “Analyzer Condition Codes and Descriptions” on page 258
To review the Error Log, navigate to Menu → Archive → Error Log. For more information, see
“Error Log” on page 150.
NOTIFICATION ICONS
Use the following information to determine if the notification is an Error, Warning, or Maintenance
Request.
If the Status Icon in the bottom right corner of the Touchscreen is showing anything other than a
“Healthy Status” (Green circle with a white Check Mark), select the Status Icon to view the
System Information Screen. The Error Code(s) will be displayed by Functional Module
(Electronics, Control, Furnace, and Sampling). Take note of the first two digits of the Error
Code(s); this determines if the alert is an Error, Warning, or Maintenance Request. In addition,
take note of the Functional Module that posted the alert; this determines which Error Code table
to view.
• Error Status Icon (Red circle with a white X)
• The Error Code starts with E1.
• Errors will not disappear automatically and the User must acknowledge them to
proceed. Do not ignore this notification. It is important to address any Error(s) as
soon as possible to prevent incorrect measurement values and unsafe Analyzer
operation.
