Fan Filters The Predictive Maintenance gauge displays this as “Fan
Filter” but it is referring to both Fan Filters.
There are two external Fan Filters on the Analyzer
enclosure, one on each side of the Analyzer enclosure.
Replacement of the Fan Filters is only required when the
internal Analyzer temperature is too high and the
Predictive Maintenance gauge triggers an alert.
Replace: When prompted, replace both filter media as
soon as possible. After replacing, Acknowledge any “E3”
alerts that may have been triggered related to this
consumable, if needed. See “Fan Filters” on page 189
.
• NOTE: Environmental conditions can impact the
expected lifespan.
Furnace Cartridge This refers to the Furnace Cartridge inside the Furnace.
The Predictive Maintenance gauge displays it as
“Cartridge”.
Replace: When prompted, clean or replace the Furnace
Ceramic Packing and in some cases replace the entire
Furnace Cartridge. After replacing, ensure that the
consumable has been marked as “Reset” in the firmware.
See “Furnace Cartridge” on page 205
.
MFSV Vent Absorber
Cartridge
This refers to the small Soda Lime Absorber Cartridge
located in the bottom of the Analyzer enclosure to the left
of the Gas Cooler Unit.
• Over time, the Soda Lime granules in the cartridge
will degrade and the color will change to an “indigo/
purple” color.
Check: Inspect this Filter each time maintenance is being
performed. Replace, if needed.
Usage: Based on Analytical Method and measurement
frequency.
Replace: At least once a year, or as needed. This
component may be replaced more frequently depending
on Method, measurement settings, and User
environment. See “MFSV Vent Absorber Cartridge” on
page 190.
NDIR Disk Filter (HS3) This refers to the small Disk Filter inside the Analyzer
enclosure above the Aerosol Absorber and Halogen Trap
glass tubes.
Usage: Based on Analytical Method and measurement
frequency.
Replace: At least once a year, or as needed. This
component may be replaced more frequently depending
on Method, measurement settings, and User
