Print-Quality Troubleshooting
Checklist
Check the following items prior to performing troubleshooting. These
procedures may help to resolve the problems without troubleshooting the
printer.
1. Color is out of alignment.
After installing a new black Print Cartridge, ensure to clean the Laser
lens.
a. Clean the Laser Unit lenses using a Q-tip or a dry, lint-free cloth to
wipe the lenses.
b. Check the Transfer Unit for damage.
c. Perform Color Registration Adjustment (page 6-2).
