DELETE SNMP COMMUNITY (SEC)
Syntax
DELETE SNMP COMMUNITY=name [TRAPHOST=ipaddress-list]
[V2CTRAPHOST=ipaddress-list] [MANAGER=ipaddress-list]
Description Removes an SNMPv1 and/or SNMPv2c trap host(s) and/or management station(s) from
the specified SNMP community.
Options The following table gives the range of values for each option that can be specified with
this command and a default value (if applicable).
Example DELETE SNMP COMMUNITY=system_test
Option Description Default Value
COMMU-
NITY
name - the name of the SNMP community; a case-sensi-
tive alphanumeric string of 1 to 15 characters.
TRAPHOST ipaddress-list - the list of IP addresses of the trap hosts,
separated by commas; the hosts to which traps are sent
V2CTRAP-
HOST
ipaddress-list - the list of IP addresses of the SNMPv2c
trap host(s), separated by commas.
MANAGER ipaddress-list - the IP address of the management sta-
tion(s) for this SNMP community. The management sta-
tion is a device from which SNMP requests with the
community name are deemed to be authentic. A com-
munity may have more than one management station.
