b. Select the Sudden Increase of Sound Intensity Detection checkbox,
and then set the Sensitivity and Sound Intensity Threshold.
Sensitivity: Range 1 to 100. The smaller the value, the more sever the
change must be to trigger detection.
Sound Intensity Threshold: Range 1 o 100. The smaller the value,
the louder the environment sound, the higher the value should be.
Adjust this according to the environment.
c. Select the Sudden Decrease of Sound Intensity Detection checkbox,
and then set the detection sensitivity.
6. Click Apply.
Sudden scene change detection
The sudden scene change detection function detects the change of the
surveillance environment. For example, when the camera is rotated.
Note: The Rule Settings sensitivity determines how easily the scene change is
triggered.
Defocus detection
The image blur caused by a defocused lens is detected.
Note: The Rule Settings sensitivity determines how easily a defocused image
triggers an alarm.
PIR alarm
The PIR (passive infrared) alarm triggers when an intruder moved within the
detector’s field of view. The heat energy dissipated by a person, or another warm
blooded creature (dog, cat, etc.), is detected.
To configure the PIR alarm:
1. Enter the VCA settings interface.
Menu > Camera > VCA
2. Select the desired camera.
3. Set the VCA detection to PIR Alarm, and then select the Enable checkbox.
4. Click to configure the trigger channel, arming schedule, and linkage
actions.
5. Click Apply.
