Configuring advanced settings
Configuring PPPoE settings
Your NVR allows access by Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE).
To configure PPPoE settings:
1. Browse to the Network Settings interface.
Menu > Configuration > Network
2. Click the PPPoE tab.
3. Select the Enable PPPoE checkbox to enable this feature.
4. Enter the User Name, Password, and the Confirm Password for PPPoE
access.
Note: The User Name and Password is assigned by your ISP.
5. Click Apply to save and exit the interface.
The system prompts you to reboot the device to enable the new settings.
After the reboot, the PPPoE dial-up is automatically connected. Browse
Network Interface (Menu > Maintenance > System Info > Network
Interface) to view the PPPoE connection status.
Configuring Cloud P2P
Cloud P2P provides access for mobile device applications, allowing control of the
connected NVR. Allowing you remote access to the surveillance system.
To configure Cloud P2P:
1. Browse to the Network Settings interface.
Menu > Configuration > Network
2. Click the Platform Access tab.
3. Select the Enable checkbox to activate Cloud P2P.
If required, select the Custom checkbox and enter the server address.
4. Select the Enable Stream Encryption checkbox, and then enter the device’s
verification code.
