Region entrance detection
The region entrance detection function detects people, vehicles, or objects
entering a pre-defined region from an outside place. Actions are configured in
response to these alarms.
To region entrance detection:
1. Browse to the VCA settings interface.
Menu > Camera > VCA
2. Select the desired camera.
Note: Click the Save VCA Picture to save captures pictures from VCA
detection.
3. Set the VCA detection to Region Entrance Detection, and then select the
Enable checkbox.
4. Click to configure the trigger channel, arming schedule, and linkage
actions.
5. Click Rule Settings and configure the following parameters.
Sensitivity: Range 1 to 100. The value of the sensitivity defines the size of
the object that triggers the alarm. The higher the value, the more easily the
alarm is triggered.
6. Click , and then draw a quadrilateral by setting the 4 corners. Right-click to
complete drawing the region.
Notes
• Only 1 region can be configured.
• Up to 4 rules can be set.
7. Click Apply.
