9.8.4 Replacing an FBU
Upgrade and Repair Unit

Tools: tool-less
CAUTION
Dispose of used battery properly. Keep away from children.
Do not throw flash backup units into the trash can. Batteries must
be disposed of in accordance with local regulations concerning
special waste.

Removing the defective FBU
Remove the FBU with the holder, see "Removing the FBU with the holder"
on page 387.
Disconnect the FBU cable from the FBU.
Remove the FBU from the holder.
Installing the new FBU
Install the FBU in the holder and connect the FBU cable to the FBU, see
"Preparing the FBU" on page 381.
Install the FBU with the holder, see "Installing an FBU" on page 380.
