3. Locate the e-cabinet fuses.
4. Locate the failing fuse identiîžed by the Print Care error message logs.
5. Pull out the fuse and insert a new one. Ensure that the new fuse matches the old one in size, rating, and
color.
6. Run a diagnostic test to check that the new fuse is working correctly.
CAUTION: Fire risk! A blown fuse may indicate malfunctioning electrical circuits within the system. If a
fuse trips repeatedly, call your service representative and do not attempt to replace the fuse with one
with a higher current rating.
7. Dispose of the old fuse.
8. Put back the rear right cover and screw it into place.
9. Turn on the printer in the correct way for maintenance operations: see Turn the printer on on page 160.
