Precondions for the performance
The wiring of the thr
ee motor phases and the feedback must be carried out in accordance
with the specicaons from the hardware manual.
The motor may be stalled.
The servo inverter is error-free and in Switched on device state.
Please observe the notes in the Synchronous motor: Pole posion idencaon (PPI)sec-
on.
Response of the motor during performance
The current test pulses cause audible engine noises that may be increased by the machine
mechanics depending on the mechanic
al coupling!
How to execute the pole posion idencaon PLI (without movement):
1.
If the ser
vo inverter is enabled, disable it.Enable operaon
2.
Se
t the object 0x2825 to "7" to change to the "pole posion idencaon PLI (without
mo
vement)" operang mode.
3.
Enable the servo inverter to start the process.
Note: Inhibing the controller serves to abort the started procedure any me if required
without changing the sengs.
Aer the pole posion idencaon has been completed successfully...
...the controller is inhibited automacally and the pole posion determined for the acvated
feedback system is set in the 0x2C03:002 object.

or permanent storage, the changed sengs from the servo inverter must be uploaded in
the Con
troller.

Oponally, a pole posion idencaon without moon can be acvated aer switching on
the servo inverter.

Cause: In c
ase of a wire breakage, the feedback system state is unde-
ned and the pole posion assumes any value.

emedy: Set the error response "Warning" (0x2C450x2C45 = 2) for an
encoder wire breakage in order that the pole posion will be iden-
ed aer a wire breakage.
