How to dene the duraon and sample rate for recording:
1.
Select the desired me base in the me base list eld.
a) The current seng of the me base mulplied by 10 results in the recording me.
b) As the size of the measured data memory in the inverter is limited, a compromise is usu-
ally made between sample rate and recording me.
2.Either enter the desired sample rate in [ms] in the sample rate input eld or open the "Sam-
ple rate selecon" dialog by clicking the "Sample rate" buon and select a sample rate <
1 ms.
a) The sample rate in the inverter is automacally corrected to integer mulples of 62.5 µs.
Thus, the duraon and sample rate are dened for recording and are considered when the
oscilloscope is started.
Dening the trigger condion
Based on the trigger condion, dene the starng me of recording in the inverter. The oscil-
loscope oers various trigger condions which serve to control the recording of the measured
values.
The trigger threshold can be changed in the "Value" input eld on the "Sengs" tab if the
channel is selected in "Signal source" that contains the corresponding parameter.

Signal source Selecon of the trigger source:
Channel Triggering takes place on a channel congured in the "vercal channel sengs" list
eld.
immediate trigger No trigger condion, recording takes place immediately aer the start.
Value Value, from which onwards triggering is caused.
Deceleraon Time delay of recording with regard to the trigger event.
Pre-trigger When entering a negave delay me, you can detect signals that occur before the
trig
ger event.

Triggerlevel
The trigger me is marked with a dashed line in the oscillogram.
If it is trig
gered on the occurrence of an event, values caused by the event can be
detected in this way.
Post-trigger When entering a posive delay me, you can detect signals that occur a certain me
aer the trigger event.

Edge Two trigger types are available:
increasing First, the value must fall below the dened trigger value and then exceed it in order
tha
t triggering is acvated.
decreasing First, the value must exceed the dened trigger value and then fall below it in order
that triggering is acvated.
