6. Remove the hairpin and the clevis pin from location (A) to
disengage the float springs. Insert the clevis pin into storage
hole (B). Secure it with the hairpin.
IMPORTANT:
To prevent damage to he lift system when lowering header
lift linkages without a header or weight box attached to the
windrower, ensure the float engagement pin is installed in
storage position (B) and NOT in engaged position (A).
DANGER
Ensure that all bystanders have cleared the area.

7. Disengage the safety props by turning lever (A) away from
the header to raise the safety prop until the lever locks into
vertical position. Repeat this step to secure the opposite
cylinder.
8. Start the engine, choose a level area, and lower the header
to the ground.

9. Press HEADER TILT UP (A) and HEADER TILT DOWN (B)
cylinder switches on the GSL to release the load on the
center-link cylinder.
