Laser Unit
The charged surface of the drum is scanned by the laser beam from the laser unit. The polygon motor
(M5) rotates to reflect the laser beam over the drum. Various lenses and mirrors are housed in the laser
unit, to adjust the diameter of the laser beam, and focus it on the drum surface.
