Fusing Unit
The paper sent from the transfer unit is fed between the hot roller and the pressure roller.
The hot roller is heated by the fusing lamps, and the toner is fused by heat and pressure and fixed onto
the paper. The pressure roller is pressed by the fusing pressure spring. The surface temperature of the
hot roller is detected by the fusing thermistor and controlled by the controller board (PCB15). If the
fusing unit reaches extremely high temperatures, the power line will be shut off and the fusing lamp is
forced to turn off.
