Next.TheImportPasswordscreendisplays.
6. Typeandretypethepasswordthatwasusedtoencryptthekeyfilewhenit
wasexported(seeExportanEncryptionKeyonpage309).Click Next.
Note: IfthekeywasexportedasMofNshares,connecteachofthe
requiredUBSdrives,oneaftertheother,whenprompted.For
eachshare,typeandretypethepasswordthatwasusedto
encryptthekeyfilewhenitwasexported.Thepasswordisthe
sameforalloftheshares.
7. Whenthekeyimportiscomplete,theEncryptionConfigurationscreen
displays,showingthemonikerofthenewlyimportedkey.
8. Assigntheimportedkeytothepartitionwhichcontainstheencrypted
cartridge(seeAssigntheEncryptionKeytoaPartitiononpage305).
9. Useyourstoragemanagementsoftwaretorestorethedata.
Import the Key Using a Remote Connection to the Library
Usethefollowingstepstoimportakeyfromaremotecomputerusingthe
library’sBlueScalewebinterface(RLC).
Notes: Theoptiontoimportakeyfromaremotecomputerisonly
availableifyouareaccessingthelibraryusingtheBlueScale
webinterface.
Thekeymustbeaccessibletothecomputeryouareusingto
accessthelibrary’sBlueScalewebinterface.
Importingakeyfromaremotecomputerisnotsupportedfor
keysthatweresplitintoMofNshares.
