Thedrivedeterminedthataproblemoccurredthatdegradedtheoperationof
thedrive,butitdidnotrestrictcontinueduse.
Thedriveisusable,thoughthesingle‐characterdisplay(SCD)continuesto
indicateanerrorandthestatuslightflashesamber.Theerrorcodemayclear
whenyoucyclepowertothedrive.
1. Resetthedrive(seeResettingaDriveonpage401)tocleartheerrorcode.
2. Confirmthatthedriveisusingthecurrentfirmwareversion(seeUpdating
DriveFirmwareonpage443)andupdatethefirmwareifnecessary.
3. UsetheDriveHealthVerificationwizardtotestthedrive(seeUsingDLMto
TestanLTODriveonpage407).
4. Iftheproblempersists,contactSpectraLogicTechnicalSupport(see
ContactingSpectraLogiconpage7).
