Contact the vendor of the third-party voice messaging system and discover why it is sending SMDI
message with an invalid format.
SMDIMessageError
SMDI message contains invalid DN.
Some voice messaging systems send SMDI messages to Cisco Unified Communications Manager
(Unified CM) with an invalid DN specifically for the purpose of verifying that Unified CM is functioning
properly. In such cases, if the Validate DNs service parameter is set to True, CMI triggers this alarm
because the DN cannot be found in the Unified CM database.
