7.2 Auto start function
DANGER!
Danger of automatic start of the pump
The the pump is automatically started by connecting the power supply already
,
without having to press a switch / button before.
For security reasons the [auto start] function is not activated when the
pump is delivered.
CAUTION!
The operator of the pump is responsible for avoiding the risk of an accidental
startup of the pump after the power is reconnected using suitable higher level
measures!
The function [auto start] determines whether the pump is set to "Pause" when the mains
connection is re-established following a power cut or if the pump should immediately start
running again in the set operating mode.
Switch on auto start:
1.
The pump must be switched off and there must be no fault (all LEDs are
off). If there is a fault, it must first be acknowledged and then the pump
must be switched off.
[ON/OFF] Push button twice briefly.

Both LEDs flash up green briefly

If afterwards the left LED lights up green, the pump is not set to “auto
start"! If afterwards the right LED lights up green, the pump is set to
“auto start".

Pressing the [ON/OFF] button while an LED illuminates.
ð
After another 2 seconds both LEDs light up and the diaphragm is moved to the
service position (front dead centre).
By pressing the [ON/OFF] button , while a single LED illuminates,
the auto start mode is switched.
Instead of the left LED now the right LED lights or vice versa.
If the ON/OFF
[button] is
no longer pressed, the mode displayed is
saved. The LED goes off.
The next time the mains voltage returns after power off, the corresponding
mode is activated.
If the auto start mode is inactive, the pump is always OFF when the mains
voltage returns after power off. If the auto start mode is active, the pump is
switched on with the pump running after the mains power returns after the
power has been switched off. If the pump was OFF before, it will be OFF after
the pump returns.
