12.1 General troubleshooting and fault rectification
NOTICE!
With some error messages the pump should always be sent to the customer
service department as it is only possible to access the level of the control to
which these messages relate.

Metering pump does not work. Mains cable damaged. Change mains cable.
Incorrect voltage. Check mains voltage.
No suction on pump despite
venting and max. stroke.
Deposits, sticking valves,
drying out of valves.
Flush out the metering head via
the suction line; if necessary
also remove the valves and
clean or replace them.
Metering head is leaking, medium
escapes through the diaphragm
rupture drain.
Metering head is loose. Tighten the metering head
fastening screws crosswise.
Tear in diaphragm. Replace diaphragm.

12.2 LED - fault messages
The ‘EcoPro’ diaphragm metering pump has a red alarm LED that flashes in
the case of an error message.
In such cases, check all electrical and hydraulic connections, as well as the
available supply of the dosing medium and the suction pipe.
If nothing changes after you have performed all relevant checks, return the
pump to Customer Service, paying attention to the information about returning
pumps at the start of this chapter
