| IP Configuration
Setting the Switch’s IP Address (IP Version 4)

◆ IP Address – Address of the VLAN to which the management station is
attached. Valid IP addresses consist of four numbers, 0 to 255, separated by
periods. (Default: None)
◆ Subnet Mask – This mask identifies the host address bits used for routing to
specific subnets. (Default: None)
◆ Gateway IP Address – IP address of the gateway router between the switch
and management stations that exist on other network segments.
(Default: 0.0.0.0)
◆ MAC Address – The physical layer address for this switch.
◆ Restart DHCP – Requests a new IP address from the DHCP server.
Web Interface
To set a static address for the switch:
1. Click System, IP.
2. Select the VLAN through which the management station is attached, set the IP
Address Mode to “Static,” enter the IP address, subnet mask and gateway.
3. Click Apply.

To obtain an dynamic address through Auto IP for the switch:
1. Click System, IP.
2. Select the VLAN through which the management station is attached, set the IP
Address Mode to “Auto IP.”
3. Click Apply to save your changes.
4. Click Apply.
