Configuring Port Web Authentication (PWA)
Configuring PWA on the switch consists of:
• Setting the IP address which the user will authenticate to on the switch
• Optionally enabling PWA enhanced mode and configure guest networking privileges
• Enabling PWA on the port
• Globally enabling PWA on the switch
• Setting the authentication mode to multi
Procedure 10-3 describes how to configure PWA authentication. Unspecified parameters use their
default values.
3. Enable or disable MAC authentication globally
on the device. By default, MAC authentication is
globally disabled on the device.
set macauthentication {enable | disable}
4. Set the MultiAuth mode. set multiauth mode multi
5. Display MAC authentication configuration or
status of active sessions.

6. If a session or port requires reinitialization,
re-initialize a specific MAC session or port.
