Using the Equipment
• ICMP Enable – Enables the user to ENABLE/DISABLE response to ICMP
messages on the input.
• Port 1/2 IGMP Version – Currently used IGMP version, can be 2 or 3.
• SNMP Enable – Enables the user to ENABLE/DISABLE the SNMP facility via
the input port (UDP port 161 and 162).
• IP params to XML output – Enabling this feature means that the all IP
parameters are included in the XML configuration file. Disabling this feature is
desirable if key IP parameters must be preserved on a target IRD during a
redundancy switch.

• ARP Enable – Enables the user to ENABLE/DISABLE response to ARP
messages on the input.
• Ethernet Line Mode – Ethernet speed selection: Auto detect, 100Mbps or
1000Mbps.
• Current Line Mode – Reports the status of the Ethernet Line Mode detected on
the relevant input port. This will report one of the following: Link Down, 10 Mbps,
100 Mbps or 1 Gbps.
• Duplex – Reports the status of the Duplex mode detected on the relevant input
port. This will report one of the following: Link Down, Half or Full.
• MAC Address – Reports the current MAC address assigned to the relevant
input port.
• MAC Mode – Enables the user to change the current Media Access Control
Mode. The following options are available:
- Different – This ensures that the MAC addresses assigned to the Ethernet
Input Port 1 and 2 are different.
- Same – This forces MAC Address 2 to match that of MAC Address 1.
