3.11.4.5 Functional Description
Ericsson Director is the next step in secure content distribution and should be
purchased where BISS is not felt to be secure enough.
3.11.4.5.1 Security on the Receiver
BISS provides “fixed key” encryption with manual distribution of the keys.
Essentially, this means that the algorithm used for encryption only changes when a
new session word is created by the user and when this happens the new key must
be communicated to the receivers manually.
