This is a base unit. Customization options should be checked with Ericsson.
3.11.8.5 Functional Description
The RX8330C is based on the existing RX8330 IRD and supports the embedded
Conax Conditional Access system.
All existing functionality such as configuring the Input card or service decoding is the
same as the RX8330. However, the following limitations have been imposed:
• Conax CA is the only CA system supported by the RX8330C i.e. DVB-CI,
Director, TTV, BISS and RAS are not supported.
• Conax fingerprinting is supported.
• XPO Password Protection is permanently enabled.
• Output is SDI only, ASI output is not supported.
• IP-Output module is not supported.
• Non-volatile logging is not supported.
