3.18.1.4 Functional Description
The RX8300 series has two ASI connectors.
The RX8200 series fitted with the SD Output (RX8200/HWO/SD) option card has
two ASI connectors available
The RX8200 series fitted with the HD Output (RX8200/HWO/HD) or 3G Output
(RX8200/HWO/3G) option card has three ASI connectors available.
The ASI output can be controlled through the web browser interface from the
Output page.
3.18.1.5 Output Configuration

• TS Feed – This specifies routing of the incoming transport stream within the
RX800 to the output ASI port.
- Input – The transport stream recovered from the input card is passed
through to the ASI output without any modifications, though services may be
filtered.
- Descrambled – The transport stream recovered from the input card is first
passed through the descrambler block and then routed to the ASI output.
Any scrambled services selected for descrambling will now be output as a
clear service. Service may also be filtered.
• Output One / Two / Three – This menu configures the output signal from one of
the SDI/ASI Output BNC ports at the rear of the RX8000. This should be set to
ASI to configure the IRD for ASI output.
