Delete All SCTP Near Endpoints (RC/V 33.19)

Purpose
The SCTP Endpoint (RC/V 33.19) view is used to delete the SCTP
near endpoints to a processor group.
When to use
Use this procedure to delete the near SCTP endpoints.

additional information on the Input and Output commands.

Before you begin
Required Tools
• Supplemental Trunk Line Workstation (STLWS) or Recent
Change and Verify (RC/V) terminal
• Access to RC/V Menu Interface
Required Material
• The 5ESS
®
switch must be running a 5E16.2 FR3 software
release or later with the SIP for Packet Trunking - NAR feature
software.
Required Information
• All SCTP Near Endpoint names
Required Conditions
• All SCTP associations have been deleted on RC/V 33.22
Procedure

Identify the SCTP near endpoints to delete.
Enter the command:
OP:STATUS,SCTP,NEAREPT,ALL;
Result:
The OP STATUS SCTP NEARPT report is printed. The
status of each near endpoint is GROW, indicating
that the required condition that all SCTP
associations have been deleted on RC/V 33.22 has
been met.
