Purpose

Before you begin
Required Tools
• Supplemental Trunk Line Workstation (STLWS) or Recent
Change and Verify (RC/V) terminal
• Access to RC/V Menu Interface
Required Material
• The 5ESS
®
switch must be running a 5E16.2 FR3 software
release or later with the SIP for Packet Trunking - NAR feature
software.
Required Information
• SCTP Near Endpoint name
Required Conditions
• No SCTP associations provisioned on endpoint, endpoint in
GROW STATE

Select and prepare terminal for RC/V activities.

Delete the SCTP near endpoint for the processor group using the
procedure “Delete All SCTP Near Endpoints (RC/V 33.19)” (6-41).
This procedure can be used to delete all SCTP Near Endpoints, or in
this case, to delete an individual SCTP Near Endpoint.
