Setup
This section describes the setup procedure.
Setup of Management PC
The management PC is used control the system from the Web browser remotely, and views the
configuration information or log information. You need to prepare at least one unit of PC that
satisfies the following conditions.
The management PC is used not only in daily operation but also in setup of the server. Preparing
the management PC before setting up, you can smoothly setup the server.
● CPU ：1GHz or faster
● Memory ：1GB or larger
● HDD ：10GB or more free space. However, when a user uses the video recording of
the vKVM function, require the 200GB or more free space.
● OS ：Windows XP(32-bit version)

Windows 2008 Server R2(64-bit version)
Windows 2008 Server R2 SP1(64-bit version)
Windows 2008 Server SP1/SP2(64-bit version)
Windows 7(32-bit version)
Windows 7(64-bit version)
RedHat Enterprise Linux version 5(64-bit version)
RedHat Enterprise Linux version 6(64-bit version)
● Resolution：1152 × 864 or more
NOTE: The vKVM can support the resolution under 1280x1024.
● Browser ：32bit version IE7, 8 and 9 (When Windows OS)
Firefox2 and 3 (When Linux OS)
NOTE: The vKVM can not support 64bit version browser.
