Before Using WebBIOS
Read the following sections describing supported functions and precautions before using
WebBIOS.
Supported Function
● Indication of model name and capacity of hard disk drive
● Indication of HDD allocation status
● Indication of HDD allocation status
－ Setting of RAID level
－ Setting of Stripe Block size
－ Setting of Read Policy/Write Policy/IO Policy
● Indication of configuration information and status of virtual disk
● Removal of virtual disk
● Clearing of configuration
● Execution of initialization
● Execution of Consistency Check
● Execution of manual rebuild
● Execution of reconstruction
Notes
1. The HDDs configuring the disk group should have the same capacity and rotation speed.
Refer to “RAID Sytem Configuration” for details on disk group.
2. Be sure to execute Consistency Check after creating VD.
Refer to “RAID Sytem Configuration” for details on VD,virtual disk.
3. When installing an OS in VD under Internal RAID Controller, create a VD dedicated to
OS installation.
4. Mouse is disabled in WebBIOS.
Use Tab to move cursor, and Enter to determine it. To change values in pull-down
menu, use Up and Down cursor keys and press Enter to determine it.
