DIMM Mounting Rule in the System
Mount a larger DIMM preferentially on the slot with a lower number.
There are two different types of 4GB DIMM. When using both types of 4GB DIMM at the same
time ,it is necessory to follow the special mounting rule. If needed, consult with the maintenance
person.
Mount on sets (pair of DIMMs for A1080a-S/A1080a-D/A1040a and set of 4 DIMMs for
A1080a-E) in the order of mounting the processor memory modules when mounting multiple
memories.

Follow the table below to mount DIMMs to the processor memory module.
