The SEL-2414 surface mount option uses the SEL-2414 and the surface mount-
ing bracket for easy access to the rear connections. The SEL-2414 surface mount
option enables mounting in confined locations where only remote control and
rear-panel access is required.
Options
The SEL-2414 contains six slots for cards. Slot A must be used for the power
supply and Slot B must be used for the mainboard. The other four slots (Slot C,
Slot D, Slot E, and Slot Z) may be configured with option cards that, except for
the input/output cards, must be installed in specific slots on the device. The input/
output cards may be installed in any (or all) of Slot C through Slot Z. Table 1.1
shows the possible cards configurations (see Section 2: Installation for more
information).
