Setting the SEL Communications Processor
The Unsolicited Write message string \W;06:USER:0000h;20,03:USER:0000h/
contains all the information necessary to send the remote analog data to the
SEL-2414. Following is a discussion on the elements of the Unsolicited Write
message string.
\W indicates this is an Unsolicited Write Message
06:User:0000H indicates where the data are stored in the SEL
communications processor (06 is the User regions port number
where the data are stored, the beginning of the User region starts at
F800H on each port, 0000H indicates what register in the User
region to start at).
;20 indicates how many 16-bit registers from the SEL
communications processor User region to send.
