Thermal Probe Selection Settings Descriptions
Ambient Temp. Measurement Input (AMB_M)
Range: 1 analog quantity
Set AMB_M to an analog quantity that measures the ambient temperature in
degrees Celsius.
Ambient Temp. Fault Condition (AMB_F)
Range: SELOGIC control equation
Set AMB_F to assert when the measured ambient temperature (AMB_M) is
known to be invalid or faulted. AMB_F is used to set MAMB_OK, as shown
in Figure 5.14.
Note: MAMB_OK will automatically deassert if AMB_M goes outside the
range (–50 to +250).
Default Temp if Ambient Temp RTD or TC Fails (AMBRTDF)
Range: BUFF, SET
Select BUFF for the thermal model to use recent measured ambient tempera-
ture values for the default ambient temperature. Select SET for the thermal
model to use the setting D_AMB for the default ambient temperature.
TRFR 1 Top-Oil Temp. Input (T1_OILM)
Range: 1 analog quantity
Set T1_OILM to an analog quantity that measures the top-oil temperature of
transformer T1 in degrees Celsius.
T1 Top-Oil Temp. Fault Condition (T1OIL_F)
Range: SELOGIC control equation
Set T1OIL_F to assert when the measured top-oil temperature of T1
(T1_OILM) is known to be invalid or faulted. T1OIL_F is used to set
MT01_OK, as shown in Figure 5.15.
Note: MT01_OK will automatically deassert if T1_OILM goes outside the
range (–50 to +250).
